Who we are

OnKuwait is an online jobs board for Kuwait. Employers publish vacancies. Job seekers browse listings and may opt in to appear on the Top talent strip. We are not a recruitment agency and we are not a party to any employment contract.

Information we collect

  • Account details: name or company name, email, phone or WhatsApp, and a hashed password.
  • Job listings: title, description, category, area, salary note, visa type, and the contact details the employer provides.
  • CV and talent profile: photo, PDF CV, education, experience and designation if you choose to join Top talent.
  • Job applications: the name, email and message you send to an employer.
  • Technical data: approximate IP address, browser type, pages viewed and time of visit, used to run and protect the site.

How we use information

  • To publish jobs and show them to people looking for work in Kuwait.
  • To send email verification codes and password-reset codes.
  • To let an employer contact an applicant, or view a talent profile (email only — phone is hidden from employers on talent pages).
  • To show advertising, including Google AdSense, and to keep pages fast and secure.
  • To meet legal duties and to stop spam, fraud or abuse.

We use essential cookies so you can stay signed in and so forms stay protected.

OnKuwait may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this site or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings or through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads on OnKuwait based on a user’s prior visits to onkuwait.com or other websites.

Who we share data with

  • The employer who posted a job receives the application you send for that job.
  • If you join Top talent, signed-in employers can see your email, photo and CV (not your phone number).
  • Our hosting and mailbox provider (Hostinger) processes the website and transactional email.
  • Google, if AdSense or site measurement is enabled.

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We keep accounts and listings while they are active, and then for as long as we need them for security or legal records. Passwords are stored as hashes. No website can guarantee perfect security. Use a strong password and never share a verification code.

Your choices

Email info@onkuwait.com to correct your details or ask us to delete your account. You can leave the Top talent strip from your CV page. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser; sign-in may stop working if you block essential cookies.

Children

This site is for people who work or hire in Kuwait. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a child, we will delete it after we check.

Changes

We may update this page. The “Last updated” date at the top is the current version. If you keep using onkuwait.com after a change, you accept the new policy.
