About OnKuwait
OnKuwait is a jobs board for Kuwait: Kuwaiti citizens and expats. Employers publish vacancies. Job seekers apply straight to the person who posted. We are not a recruitment agency and we do not take a cut of anyone’s salary.
What the site does
An employer writes the role: title, duties, area, salary if they want to show it, and visa type if they know it. After a short review the listing goes live on the homepage and under a category such as driver, restaurant, office or construction.
A job seeker opens the listing and replies with the form, WhatsApp or the email the employer gave. Your CV goes to that employer. We do not sell CV files to third parties.
If you upload a photo and a PDF and opt in, you can appear on the Top talent strip under the logo. Signed-in employers see your email and CV, not your phone number.
What we do not do
- We do not sign employment contracts for you.
- We do not guarantee that salary or visa text in an ad is accurate. That text comes from the employer.
- We never ask a job seeker to wire money for a visa or a plane ticket.
- We are not a government office. Residence and labour rules sit with the Ministry of Interior and the Public Authority for Manpower.
Where the jobs are
The site lists jobs in Kuwait. Citizens, residents, and anyone who can do the work may apply. Some ads want someone already in the country. Overseas hire is written in the listing when that is the case.
Listings cover Capital, Hawalli, Farwaniya, Ahmadi, Jahra and Mubarak Al-Kabeer. Many ads say “all Kuwait” because the work moves between areas.
The site is English and Arabic. The logo stays in English so the name OnKuwait is readable in both directions.
Why some pages are short and some are long
Job cards stay short so a phone can load the list quickly. Longer writing lives in Guides: how to apply, the first message to an employer, residence wording on ads, pay in KWD, governorates, safe search, driver jobs, household work, and how employers should post. Those pages are original to OnKuwait. They are not scraped from other boards.
Google and other reviewers see a jobs feed plus those articles. The feed is the product. The articles are why a person who is not hiring this morning still has something to read. If a line in a guide disagrees with an official circular, the circular wins. We are a noticeboard, not a ministry.
